The board paused regular business to recognize Byron Bryant for his recent election as vice president of the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO). The superintendent and trustees described Bryant’s service on the TASBO board since 2022 and noted he will progress through the officer succession to president in 2027 under the organization’s structure.
"Heading into its 2025 annual conference, TASBO members elected Byron Bryant as vice president," the superintendent said while introducing Bryant and highlighting his service as chief financial officer for Royse City ISD since 2018.
