Assistant Superintendent Julie McBride presented results from a teacher pilot comparing The Creative Curriculum and Frog Street and recommended the program she and teachers found most effective for the Mild/Moderate preschool program.
Following the recommendation, the Board approved adoption of The Creative Curriculum beginning in the 2025–2026 school year by a 5-0 voice vote. McBride told trustees the recommended curriculum aligns with the California Preschool Learning Foundations across domains including math, language and literacy, science and social‑emotional development.
Trustees thanked the pilot teachers and administrators who reviewed and scored the programs during the 2024–2025 school year.
