Board approves Alameda Anthony Lakes trip and World Language Day visit to EOU

The board approved two student field trips during the Jan. 27 meeting.
Principal Andrea Buchholz said Alameda Intermediate has two proposed dates for a trip to Anthony Lakes (March 6 and March 13). Administrative Assistant Andrea Salazar told the board that an OHS teacher who could not attend had provided lesson plans for a World Language Day visit to Eastern Oregon University. Director Matt Stringer moved and Director Blanca Rodriguez seconded approval of both trips; Chair Bret Uptmor, Vice Chair Mike Blackaby, Director Blanca Rodriguez and Director Matt Stringer voted yes.
The board recorded that lesson plans were provided for the OHS trip and that staff confirmed supervision and logistics; no additional conditions or funding lines were discussed during the motion.
