The North Bend School District Board voted unanimously to adopt a new K–12 health curriculum for the 2026–27 school year, approving The Great Body Shop for grades K–8 and Live Well for grades 9–12.
Director Anna Huit opened the discussion by thanking curriculum staff: "Director Anna Huit wanted to thank Dayna and Bruce in the Curriculum Department for the time they put in to the adoption." Director Julie B. Hale moved to approve the adoption and Director Anna Huit seconded; the motion passed 7-0.
Board members noted that the adoption reflects required standards and that the curriculum will be implemented beginning next academic year.
