Board approves unanticipated revenue, declares surplus welder and adds three to budget committee

The Morrow County School District Board approved Resolution #2025-26-09 to accept unanticipated revenue at the March 9 meeting. Becky Kindle moved to approve the resolution and Rosa Delgado seconded; the motion passed with the six members present voting aye.
The board also approved Resolution #2025-26-10 declaring a welder at Heppner High School surplus; Rosa Delgado moved and Erin Anderson seconded the motion, which passed. Separately, the board appointed three new Budget Committee members — Tanner Britt, Sarah Rea and Veronica Lezama — on a motion by Ashley Lindsay and seconded by Mary Killion. Each action was recorded in the minutes and approved by the board members present.
