North Bend School Board elects Jim Jordan chair, names Yardley and Roberts to vice posts

The North Bend School District #13 Board of Directors elected its 2024–25 officers during the Aug. 8 regular meeting. Board members unanimously approved Jim Jordan as Board Chair; the nomination was moved and seconded and passed 7–0.
Directors also approved Carol Yardley as Board Vice Chair and Michelle Roberts as Board Second Vice Chair, each by unanimous 7–0 votes. The elections were taken during the formal roll call and nominations portion of the meeting.
The newly elected leadership will serve through the 2024–25 school year under the board’s adoption of proposed meeting dates for the year. The board had convened at 6:00 PM in the North Bend City Council Chamber before proceeding with the nominations and other agenda items.
