Director of Educational Services Marie Shimer told the board the district is updating its student information system (SIS) for a fall rollout and will present a proposed 7–12 social studies curriculum in April. She also said the district plans to apply for a Summer Learning Grant next week.
Special education coordinator Marissa Turner reported Community Counseling Services will provide suicide-prevention trainings for staff and community members, with sessions available in Spanish. Those trainings and the SIS rollout were presented as part of department reports in the board packet.
