North Star Builders reports progress on Moss Elementary and Royse City high school sites

Contractor Mason Porter told trustees Moss Elementary is nearly complete and the new high school has utilities and paving roughly 95% complete; roofing, CMU and storm-shelter work continue and practice fields are being prepared for turf installation.
Mason Porter of North Star Builders gave the construction update, saying Moss Elementary is nearing turnover with FF&E moving in and final inspections underway. "Parking lot striping is complete...we are closing out final inspections," Porter reported.
Porter described the high school site as "very busy," noting roughly 95% of utilities and paving are complete for the main site and that classroom roofing is complete in several areas with interior rough-ins underway. He said the storm shelter precast panels and concrete roof are installed and that practice-field grading is finished and ready for drainage and turf installation. The board thanked the contractor for the update and acknowledged the continued work to align schedule and funding.
