Royse City ISD board adopts local policy update to BDAA

Jennifer Lyons presented the district dministrative recommendation to adopt TASB Update 125 and a local modification to policy BDAA to align officer service rules with area districts. Lyons said the local change "is just, in regard to officers and serving, because it's in alignment with districts in our area."
Trustee Eric moved to approve the change, Mike seconded, and the board approved the policy change by voice vote, 5-0. No public comment was offered during the hearing on the policy update. The board indicated additional local policies will be brought forward in coming months as part of Update 125 implementation.
