Executive Director Ron Havniear presented the district's change‑management approach, outlining project management structures, the implementation curve and the ADKAR model (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement) for supporting teachers and staff through curriculum change.
Deputy Superintendent Jeanne Grazioli then presented preliminary ELA achievement data for grades 3–11. Board directors asked which schools had the largest gains, how cohort year‑to‑year trends compared, and raised concerns about low OSAS participation rates and the role of secondary attendance and truancy in assessment results.
Directors requested additional disaggregated data and suggested a future work session focused on instructional leadership so principals can support teacher implementation and student engagement.
