Board approves executive summary and routine agenda items; moves into closed session
Summary
Trustees unanimously approved the annual executive summary, maintained the published agenda and approved gifts by voice votes (all 7–0). The meeting adjourned into closed session at 9:05 p.m. under Texas Government Code provisions for attorney consultation and personnel matters.
On routine business the board considered and approved several procedural items by unanimous voice vote. Presenter asked trustees to accept the annual executive summary report required by statute and the board approved the report with a 7–0 voice vote.
The board also voted to keep the agenda as published (7–0) after confirming there were no public commenters, and later accepted gifts and donations (7–0). At 9:05 p.m., Board President Chris Potín announced the meeting would move into closed session under Texas Government Code sections dealing with consultation with legal counsel and personnel matters (cited in the meeting as sections 551.071 and 551.054).
