The Sulphur Springs Union School District Board of Trustees reviewed schematic design plans for a proposed elementary school in the Skyline Ranch community at its Jan. 15 meeting.
Deputy Superintendent Dr. Joshua Randall introduced Scott Gaudineer, president of Flewelling & Moody, and Daniel Clem, vice president of TELACU Construction Management, who presented the schematic design phase and a more detailed site plan. Trustees asked the presenters to return with additional color choices and options for board review at a future meeting.
The agenda listed closed-session property negotiations for the proposed Skyline Ranch site with developer TriPointe; agency negotiators named in the agenda included Superintendent Dr. Catherine Kawaguchi, attorney Michael Toy (Parker & Covert LLP) and Anthony J. Barron (Nixon Peabody LLP). The public agenda note on negotiations remained on the agenda and the board adjourned to closed session later in the evening.
