Council approved a $3,000,000 appropriation for the Dock Landing Fire Station No. 11 replacement project as presented by public works. The request was presented during the regular agenda and the council adopted the appropriation by a unanimous recorded vote.
"Item 6 is a request to appropriate $3,000,000 to the Dock Landing Fire Station Number 11 replacement capital improvement project requested by public works," the city manager said when introducing the item. Council members moved the item, recorded their votes, and the motion passed 8–0.
Public works will carry out the replacement project and the appropriation is intended to fund design, land/site work and construction-related costs; council did not direct additional amendments at the meeting.
