District completes phone upgrade; maintenance reports classroom moves

IT Director Jered Rush informed the board the district's phone-system upgrade is complete and thanked Principal Shane Brown for allowing him to teach the new Technology elective, which will create trained student helpers for tech support.
Transportation and maintenance lead Chad Berry told the board the crew had spent recent weeks reorganizing and moving classrooms as well as the Driftwood School office and library; Berry said there were fewer construction issues over the summer than expected. Chair Judy Miles expressed appreciation for the maintenance and custodial teams' work.
