Ortiz-Chavolla also recommended approval of the MENTE Summit, which focuses on Latino male students and pairs them with professionals who share similar experiences, and an OMS 'Smile' trip for middle-school students.
Director Matt Stringer moved to approve the trips and Vice-Chair Mike Blackaby seconded; all motions were approved unanimously (Uptmor/Blackaby/Stringer yes). The board did not specify trip costs or funding sources in the meeting record.
