Board approves minutes and adopts consent agenda with policy updates and 2025 benefits changes
Summary
The board unanimously approved the July 11, 2024 minutes and adopted a consent agenda (R24/25-8) that included revisions to JGA, JGAB and JHCCF policies and 2025 employee benefits-plan changes.
At the Aug. 8 meeting, Director Jena Benologa moved and Director Mitzi Bauer seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the regular July 11, 2024 meeting (R24/25-7); the motion passed unanimously, 7-0.
Later in the open session the board adopted the consent agenda (R24/25-8) on a motion by Director Tory McVay, seconded by Vice Chair Jena Benologa. The consent agenda included recommended policy revisions from the Policy Review Committee: JGA (Corporal Punishment), JGAB (Use of Restraint or Seclusion) and JHCCF (Pediculosis/Head Lice). The board also approved changes to North Clackamas benefit plans for 2025. The record shows the consent motion passed unanimously, 7-0.
