Board accepts three resignations and approves seven new hires

New hires named by the superintendent included Daisy Hyde Hade (child development specialist), Angel Palacios (child development specialist at Central Middle School), Lindsay Daugherty (special education teacher), Emma Lieber and Ashley Jones (graduates returning as teachers), Gary Eastman (math teacher at Mac High), and Reagan Braden (elementary teacher at Ferndale). The superintendent said all seven had completed the hiring process and committee review.
Board members congratulated the new hires and approved the personnel actions by voice vote without further amendment. Human resources will complete employment paperwork and contracts for the incoming staff.
