Superintendent Kevin described a personnel need on the baseball team after two coaches became unavailable and recommended a one-year extra-duty contract. "Vince Roff was, kind enough to come in and say, hey, I'll I'll step up and help," he said.
The board moved, seconded and approved the extra-duty contract for the current year so the team would be covered while the two coaches addressed family obligations. Chair called for the ayes and the motion carried.
The superintendent said the contract is for one year and is intended to cover coaching duties while the existing coaches are absent; personnel paperwork will be completed by district HR.
