Commission awards concrete contract for generator 'cap' project to low bidder

Huber said crews hope to start mid-September with concrete poured by Oct. 1 to allow at least a month of curing before cast components arrive around Nov. 1. A commissioner moved to award the contract to the low bidder and the commission approved the award by voice vote. Staff will complete bonding and scheduling and expect work to proceed this fall.
