ISD 622 board revises and adopts multiple district policies
Summary
The School Board approved revisions to a large set of district policies and adopted policy 522 (Student Sex Nondiscrimination) and 606.5 (Library Materials). The motions passed 5-0.
The School Board of ISD 622 voted to revise a large group of district policies and to adopt two policies during its Aug. 20 meeting. The minutes list more than 40 policy numbers revised and two policies adopted (522 and 606.5).
Livingston moved and C. Anderson seconded the resolution to revise policies including 102, 104, 207, 415, 416, 418, 419, 425, 505, 506, 509, 512, 513, 514, 515, 516, 521, 524, 552, 536, 601, 603, 604, 606, 608, 609, 615, 614, 615 (testing accommodations), 616, 620, 624, 707, 708, 709, 802, 806 and others as recorded in the minutes. The motion to adopt policies 522 and 606.5 was recorded separately. Both actions were approved on 5-0 roll-call votes.
The minutes do not include policy text changes in full; the board recorded the policy numbers and the adoption votes. District staff will post the revised and newly adopted policy numbers per regular district practice.
