Planning staff told council the requests would annex approximately 0.62 acres at 908 Buccaneers Cove and 0.55 acres at 916 Buccaneers Cove, for about 1.17 acres total, and recommended approval so the whole development can be treated as a single project. Mister White moved for first reading, Miss Hardwick seconded, and the council approved the motion unanimously. Planning Commission will hold a required public hearing on proposed zoning on Aug. 6 before the matter returns to council for further readings and final action.
