The Colony City Council voted unanimously to authorize staff to negotiate a contract with Kenley Horn to prepare the transportation element of the city’s comprehensive plan.
Planning staff told council the city received “proposals from 4 qualified firms,” and that a staff review team scored Kenley Horn highest. Councilmember Goldfinch moved to approve the recommendation and another member seconded; after a brief exchange about previous work with the firm and coordination with the South Carolina Department of Transportation, the mayor called the vote and the motion carried unanimously. The action authorizes the administrator to negotiate a services contract in accordance with purchasing requirements.
