Commission members reviewed the current draft of the open-space inventory and a short highlights sheet intended for the town council update on Sept. 22. The chair said the inventory numbers are unchanged from the previous version; the highlights received cosmetic updates and new photos intended to make the presentation "a little prettier." The chair asked members to send any final comments so staff could finalize the presentation for the council meeting.
Members spoke about presentation format and whether to call out updated plan definitions. One member recommended noting that inventory parameters will be updated to reflect the POCD definitions and that staff would coordinate with the IT department to post the inventory online once the consultant’s InDesign file is finalized in late August. The commission agreed to a final internal review before the Sept. 22 council briefing.
