Erickson provided dates and highlights: the 5K begins June 27 at 8:00 a.m.; carnival hours run July 1–4 with varied schedules; food and craft vendors will operate July 3–4; a free concert on July 3 features local artist KC Bruner with Big & Rich headlining at 8:00 p.m.; and a new Fun Zone sponsored by Randy’s Flooring will offer a rock‑climbing wall and inflatable obstacle course free on July 4 from noon to 5:00 p.m.
Erickson closed by saying she hopes to see everyone at the events. The council recognized committee members and sponsors during the meeting.
