The Stephenville Independent School District Board of Education approved a multi-item consent agenda at its June 8 regular meeting, voting 6–0 with one member absent.
Board member Chad Elms moved to approve the consent agenda, and Ben McCleery seconded the motion. The items approved included the May 18, 2026 regular meeting minutes; review of the check registry; monthly financial statements and investments; budget amendments; the TASB Energy Cooperative transportation fuel purchase agreement; and the Final 25–26 six‑weeks attendance report. The board also approved a resolution authorizing Stephenville ISD signatures for Texpool Investment Company and recognized the extracurricular status of the 4‑H organization along with a 2026–27 adjunct faculty agreement.
The board approved changes to First Financial Bank signature authority, removing Julie Griffin, Business Manager, and adding Whitney Demetruk, Business Manager, on all district accounts, per the motion recorded in the minutes. President Dr. Robert Barberee presided over the vote.
The consent agenda vote was recorded as six board members voting in favor (Dr. Robert Barberee; Mr. Matt Miller; Dr. Rita Cook; Mr. Ben McCleery; Mr. Chad Elms; Mr. Jason Smith) with Mr. Donny Hill absent. The board did not record further discussion in the minutes for these items.
