County Manager Jack Veit told commissioners the county is now live with an online permitting system for planning and inspections, allowing residents to apply and track permits from their devices. "Today, Shane released a press release saying we are finally live for our online permitting system through planning inspections," Veit said, adding that staff have worked hard to reach this milestone.
Veit also noted an upcoming PayIt online payment portal for the tax office that will allow electronic payments for vehicle taxes and other payments, and proposed scheduling the board's fall work session for Oct. 19 to cover items such as the animal-shelter funding discussion, a facilities update, and a budget briefing.
