Board approves $115,250 carryover to finish Havelock Health Clinic pharmacy expansion

Zach Chenoweth told the board the Havelock Health Clinic pharmacy expansion design was completed, contractors were issued purchase orders, and on-site work began in June with minor demolition and infrastructure relocation. "Work remains ongoing with staff and contractors estimating a completion date of August 31," Chenoweth said, and he reported the project "is on budget and on schedule." The board was asked to approve a budget amendment to carry over $115,250 in unspent FY26 funds into the current fiscal year to finish the project.
Hearing no questions from commissioners, the board moved and seconded the amendment and approved it by roll call. Staff said they expect the project to be completed by the end of August without a tax-rate increase or other changes to the county budget.
