Committee weighs Cliff Lane, Centennial Park and Belvedere Way as top restoration candidates

"It very much looks like an opportunity for restoration of one of these lanes that would give water access," the chair said in explaining why Cliff Lane should be considered. Several committee members supported cleaning up Centennial Park as an alternative priority; one member described Cliff Lane as constructible and historically used for boat access, while others urged attention to erosional undermining on Belvedere Way.
Staff agreed to prepare high-level budget estimates for the chair to use in drafting the report; the committee asked for a future agenda item that breaks down likely budget allocations between maintenance, restoration construction and longer-term maintenance funding. Members also discussed coordination with neighboring jurisdictions and with Tiburon representatives about potential access points.
