Stanfield board adopts 2026–27 school calendar

The Stanfield School Board adopted the district's recommended 2026–27 school-year calendar at its Jan. 14 meeting. Board member Cecili Longhorn moved to adopt the calendar and Nikki McCann seconded; the motion carried unanimously with four members voting in favor.
The calendar had been presented earlier in the meeting during administrative reports and discussed in the board's discussion agenda. Superintendent Beth Burton had included the recommended calendar as part of her administrative report; no amendments to the proposed calendar were recorded in the minutes.
