The superintendent and staff pointed to exhibit language that obligates the city to "work with the district to provide a replacement" if an SRO is absent for 30 or more days, and members suggested revising that period to 10 days. The city is scheduled to review the contract on the 17th and the board will consider ratification at the next meeting.
