During the June 29 session the Erie County Commissioners handled several routine administrative actions.
The Board adopted a resolution executing payment of Then and Now Certification pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 5705.41(d)(1) and authorized drawing warrants in payment of amounts due upon contract or order. The Board also executed a Satisfaction of Mortgage to Tina Layton for $33,616.00 for property located at 8805 Hayes Avenue in Sandusky.
Personnel Action Forms were approved for multiple hires and promotions across county maintenance, water, collection and landfill departments (examples in minutes include Jeffrey Jackson seasonal maintenance effective 6/30/26 and Olivia Blanton Account Clerk II —6 Billing effective 7/6/26). The Board also executed a letter of support to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Glenn Research Center, Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility regarding Armstrong Innovation Park at NASA Armstrong.
All items were approved by motion and roll call recorded as all aye.
