The Winlock City Council on April 13 approved a one-year on-call electrical services agreement with Travers Electric for emergency electrical work at the Water/Sewer Plant. Water/Sewer Superintendent Rodney Cecil said he sought bids from three electricians and that Travers submitted the lowest rate; the agreement is limited to emergency work and will not be used for planned projects.
Councilwoman Jodie Curtis moved to approve Travers Electric for on-call services and Councilman Jess Bowers seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The minutes do not include specific hourly rates or contract documentation; Council directed staff to finalize terms with Travers.
