District seeks small site adjustment for Scotts Mills PTA play shed to avoid lot-line change

Kim said district staff asked the PTA to try to move the play shed "7 feet off the boundary a little bit more towards the building," which the city indicated would prevent an encroachment. Kim said Scotts Mills and Marion County use different setback measurements (one appears to be 15 feet and the other 20 feet), and that a formal lot-line adjustment could take until June, so the district is seeking a site adjustment first.
Board members noted the inter-jurisdictional complexity and that the district would continue coordinating with the city and county. Kim said Marion County and city guidance differ and that the district is working with both to find a practical solution.
