District to pilot two ELA/ELD curricula and Spanish-language adoption process next year

Staff identified the designated ELD and Spanish LA programs being piloted (Benchmark Advance/Adelante with Express for ELD on one track; Amplify CKLA/Camino with Language Studios on the other) and emphasized plans to engage families and site staff throughout the year. Trustees asked about supplemental digital tools (Lexia, IXL and others) and staff said they are vetting add-on apps districtwide and will prioritize equity and instructional alignment before approving site-level purchases.
