Staff presented the Sunol Glen Unified School District’s 2026–27 Local Control Accountability Plan and explained teachers and staff provided feedback incorporated in a redline. Trustees recommended several targeted edits to clarify evaluation frequency wording, to strengthen the phrasing around designated English Language Development (ELD), and to remove duplicate language in one paragraph.
One trustee asked for a clearer sentence about teacher evaluations and suggested phrasing "every other year or up to every 5 years" where applicable; staff agreed to add the negotiated language and to update page references in the redline. Trustees then moved and seconded to approve and accept the LCAP for 2026–27 with the discussed edits. The board emphasized that next year staff will produce a substantially new LCAP with greater staff involvement in its drafting.
