Stockdale ISD accepts nearly $34,000 in donations for grants and athletics

Superintendent Todd Deaver reported the Stockdale Education Foundation donated $23,854.00 for fall 2024 grants; community members contributed $6,800.00 for fan buses to the Lady Brahmas state volleyball game; and the Stockdale Athletic Association donated $3,400.00 for the Lady Brahmas charter bus. Trustee CJ Urrabazo moved to approve all three donations; Trustee Teri Dugi seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The board approved the donations as presented; the meeting record does not show additional restrictions or stipulations attached to these gifts. Staff will proceed to accept and allocate the funds in accordance with district policies and donor intent.
