Sunnyvale ISD Board casts all votes for Kevin Carbo Sr. on Dallas Central Appraisal District ballot

At its Nov. 17 meeting the Sunnyvale ISD Board of Trustees moved to allocate all six of the district’s available votes on the Dallas Central Appraisal District Board of Directors to the nominee Kevin Carbo, Sr. Trustee Linda Gooch made the motion and Trustee Ben Wright seconded; the vote was recorded 7–0.
The Board adopted Resolution No. 2025‑1117 to formalize the taxing unit’s vote and instruction to attach the official ballot. The district’s official ballot included a deadline for submission of Dec. 15, 2025; the ballot lists nominees alphabetically and provides a space to enter the number of votes next to each nominee. The recorded action instructs district staff to submit the ballot and resolution to the DCAD chief appraiser as required.
