Superintendent Krista Nieraeth presented the employee handbook and said it follows district policy and includes required notices for wages that must be provided to staff beginning Jan. 1, 2026. She told the board the handbook does not change current practice but ensures staff know where to find district policies. Mrs. Harrington moved to approve the handbook; Mr. Anderson seconded and the motion passed 5‑0.
Nieraeth noted the handbook had been reviewed with the union and praised collaborative work that began in February. The board directed staff to distribute the handbook to employees at the start of the school year and to ensure required postings and notices are completed.
