Superintendent Michelle Jensen introduced Mike Scott, "who will be facilitating the work session/mini retreat together today," and the board reviewed a morning agenda focused on governance and goal-setting.
The board's listed agenda items included Welcome and Introductions; The Power of the Board–Superintendent Team; Roles and Responsibilities; Goals for 2026–27; Communications/Operating Principles; Board Agenda Planning for 2026–27; and Wrap Up/Closing Activity. Board members discussed the session as a chance to align priorities and clarify the board–superintendent working relationship heading into the 2026–27 school year.
