City Circle Theatre announces Newsies run, Come From Away auditions and volunteer events

City Circle Theatre reported one remaining weekend of The Drowsy Chaperone, casting and dates for Newsies (July 17–19 & July 24–26), Come From Away auditions May 15–16 with rehearsals in July and a September 11 opening, plus involvement in summer community events and a volunteer appreciation program.
Amy Sundermann, speaking for City Circle Theatre Company, said the company has one more weekend of The Drowsy Chaperone and provided details on upcoming seasons and outreach.
Sundermann confirmed Newsies has been cast for performances July 17–19 and July 24–26, said Come From Away auditions are May 15–16 with rehearsals starting in July and a September 11 opening, and noted City Circle’s participation in the 4th Fest parade and the Aug. 8 5th Street Social. She encouraged using cast members to hand out fliers at community events and announced a Volunteer Appreciation event planned for September.
The commission welcomed the outreach plans and encouraged cross-promotion with local businesses and festivals to boost attendance.
