District committee proposes new playoff allocation ranges; trustees warned allocations may shift

The trustee explained classification shifts (some schools moving between 1A, 2A, 3A and up to 4A by petition) and noted league reconfigurations will change allocations. The committee will continue work over five months and return final recommendations; Board member 5 said the goal is to ensure the 20 teams selected are the "best teams we can have go." The board did not vote on the committee's recommendations at this meeting.
