Council President O'Brien presented a consent resolution covering multiple routine administrative items that had previously been reviewed by council members and were being adopted together by consent.
O'Brien said, "Be it resolved that the following resolutions placed on the agenda by consent require no discussion... and hereby adopted in their entirety by the mayor and council of the borough of Old Tappan," listing bills and claims, release of cash bonds and escrow, a street-opening permit, shared services, fuel storage tank items, an auction of vehicles, approval of street name "Aida Lane," and a drainage easement at 11 Amsler Way. The clerk conducted a roll call and recorded affirmative votes for members present.
These items were adopted without separate debate; council members can request removal of an item from consent in future meetings before adoption.
