Tulia ISD trustees adopt May 2 election results; swearing-in set for May 19

The Tulia Independent School District Board of Trustees voted May 6 to adopt the official results of the May 2, 2026 trustee election for Place 5.
Motion by Trustee Kacy Quinton, seconded by Trustee Nicole Gore, to adopt the election results passed with four yes votes (Nicole Gore, Jason Jack, Jenni McCaslin and Kacy Quinton), one abstention (Board President Clint Mahannah) and two trustees recorded as absent (William Fifer and Ashley Ramirez). The board recorded that the newly elected member will be sworn in at the district’s regular board meeting on May 19, 2026.
