At the June 9 budget workshop, staff said all employees on district pay schedules were rolled to the next step, resulting in at least a 2% raise, and employees not on pay schedules also received a 2% increase in the preliminary plan. Trustees were told these changes are built into the proposed 2026–2027 general fund assumptions.
In addition to across-the-board step movement, the presentation listed an Assistant Principal position at the high school as an added role with changed duties for the coming year. No formal personnel action was taken at the workshop; staff included these compensation and position changes in the preliminary budget assumptions for board consideration.
