CFO Zach Wyatt told trustees the district's advertised Form 3 is available on the finance webpage and contains a debt-service maximum that is intentionally high to preserve flexibility until assessed-value certification. He also referenced a three-year capital projects plan and a five-year bus replacement schedule available on the district website.
Wyatt said bus purchases approved through debt service will not hit the operations fund, and the district will continue to identify capital expenditures that can be financed through bonds to reduce pressure on the operations fund. He announced a public hearing on Aug. 10 at 6:00 p.m. and that the board will be asked to adopt the 2027 budget on Sept. 14. The administration said final appropriations will be set after county and state certifications in late fall or early winter, when Form 1782 information is returned.
