Board approves high school supply-line and bathroom repairs plus one-year food service extension

The Beecher CUSD 200U board approved several facilities and service items at its May 14 meeting, including replacement of a high-school supply line, renovation of a staff bathroom drain and a one-year extension of the district’s food service contract.
Chair presented the supply-line item: "I need a motion to approve the replacement of the supply line at the high school by Action Plumbing for a cost of $43,000." The board moved, seconded and approved the $43,000 contract. Later the board approved a staff bathroom drain repair and renovation at the high school by Action Plumbing for $45,100.
Separately, the board approved a one-year extension to the district’s existing food service contract; the chair said the extension continues work with the vendor currently in place. Each item passed on roll call.
