Judge swears in Tulia ISD trustees Kacy Quinton and Clint Mahannah

Judge Michael Clawson swore in newly elected trustees Kacy Quinton and Clint Mahannah at the Tulia Independent School District Board of Trustees meeting on May 19, 2026. Board President Clint Mahannah called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; the minutes list board members present (Clint Mahannah, Kacy Quinton, Ashley Ramirez, William Fifer, Nicole Gore and Jenni McCaslin) and one absence (Jason Jack).
The board recognized Tulia Elementary staff members Dawn Shelton and Tracy Hawkins and named outstanding students by grade, including PK Ethan Garza and 5th grader Mason Haynes. Dr. Brenda Martinez of the Texas Education Agency attended the meeting (via Zoom as noted), and central office staff and school principals were listed as present in the minutes.
