At its Dec. 18 meeting the Valley Mills ISD Board of Trustees approved several financial and procurement items, including membership in the Region 10 ESC Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative and the opening of multiple accounts at First National Bank Bosque County.
Jim Blackford moved to approve the interlocal agreement for participation in the Region 10 ESC Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative for 2025–2026; Kristy Hollingsworth seconded and the motion passed 6–0. The minutes record the board then approved opening a Maintenance & Operations (M&O) and an Interest & Sinking (I&S) account at First National Bank Bosque County to permit transfers from TexPool; that motion was made by Jim Blackford, seconded by John Bullion, and passed unanimously.
The board also approved opening a district food-service account at First National Bank Bosque County. That motion was made by Jim Blackford, seconded by Jake Wolf, and passed 6–0. The minutes list the consent-agenda items (previous minutes, monthly financial report, revenue-to-expenditure comparison and investment report) as approved earlier in the meeting by a separate unanimous vote.
