At the June 11 meeting the Borough of Clayton Council introduced Bond Ordinance 14-2026, which appropriates $1,067,037 for various capital improvements and capital equipment and authorizes the issuance of up to $759,525 in general obligation bonds or bond anticipation notes. The ordinance was placed on first reading and will return for subsequent hearings and action.
CFO staff had earlier noted there are two bond ordinances on the agenda. The introduction does not enact borrowing; it begins the local procedure for public hearings and formal adoption at a future meeting. No public comment was recorded at the introduction.
