Troup ISD board invites public to facilities committee meeting; adjourns special session 6-0

The board asked that the public be invited to a Facilities Planning Committee meeting tentatively scheduled for Aug. 4, 2025, and adjourned the July 28 special meeting at 7:15 p.m. after a motion by Ty Lindsey seconded by Lisa Lewis that passed 6-0.
Board members agreed to invite the public to the next Facilities Planning Committee meeting, which is tentatively scheduled for August 4, 2025, to solicit input on facility priorities and financing.
The special meeting, called to order at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Building boardroom, concluded at 7:15 p.m. when Ty Lindsey moved to adjourn, Lisa Lewis seconded, and the motion carried 6-0. Member Homer Dickey was noted as not able to attend. No executive session was held during the meeting.
